Dear Members & Future Members:
Successful Golf Clubs are built around a foundation of enduring relationships and social camaraderie between friends and associates. As a Member of Wildwood Green Golf Club, you are instrumental in determining the success of our Club. The staff and I strive to maintain an active and vibrant environment for our Members. This past year started with three member meetings with the owner, Roger Watson, and I outlining a plan to grow your club. Our membership drive in late winter/early spring brought in 165 new members, and we want to thank all our members for making that happen. During the meetings we shared with everyone our goal was to WORK TOWARD BECOMING MORE PRIVATE, and now with your help we can reach A NEW LEVEL.
Along with greeting every member and guest with a warm and friendly hello, Head Golf Professional, John Budwine, has done an outstanding job this season providing superior customer service. John also directs the Wildwood Green Golf Academy’s instructional Staff of 6 PGA Golf Professionals with instructional opportunities for all our members to improve their game. In his second season as Wildwood Green Superintendent, Rick Durham and his staff, continue improving golf course conditions. Many longtime members have told us the golf course is in the best condition they can remember. Rick has already started his winter course projects by renovating several sand traps. During our monthly couples events and our “Grill & Chill” member socials this season everyone has given Robert Caldwell and his F&B Staff high praise in their special efforts to serve the members the highest quality food and beverage possible. All this took place because our members helped make the early spring Membership Drive a huge success. We currently have 440 members at Wildwood Green in the following categories:
Regular – 257 Weekday – 149 Junior - 34
We will INITIATE THE FIRST LEVEL OF PRIVATE CLUB STATUS on weekend and holiday mornings when we reach and maintain our goal of 275 Regular Memberships and 150 Weekday Memberships. When we reach our goal, the weekend and holiday mornings will be RESTRICTED to members, their accompanied and sponsored guests, from April 1 to November 1.
Member Incentives
With the success and support all our members showed while helping recruit new members earlier this year, we want your help again. We want to give you an incentive for each new member you recruit again. Membership categories eligible for the $30 per month dues credit incentive during the first 24 months are Regular, Corporate, Corporate Add-On, and Junior Executive. Every new member sponsored by a current member will receive a $30.00 dues credit each month for 24 months and the sponsoring member will receive a $30.00 per month dues credit for first 24 months their newly sponsored member is an active member. Weekday and Junior Memberships and the sponsoring member receive a $15 per month dues credit for the first 24 months.
“Complimentary Initiation Fee” certificates need to be completed to be eligible for your monthly dues credit when sponsoring a new member. Certificates are available in the Golf Shop.
